Date Night: With a French Theme

I am a big fan of the Phillips Collection in D.C. The Philips collection is a gorgeous modern art collection in a beautiful set of galleries that have been added to and enhanced over time to enhance the visitor experience, with great dedication to continually improving their collection and enhancing visitor enjoyment. I am certainly partial to the events that are held later in the evening that the Hubby and I can make a special evening out of, such as their Philips After Five or Third Thursday events,

I am particularly looking forward to enjoying the Philips collection late on the third

Thursday of the month. Hubby and I plan to take advantage of this by having a date night ( most museums close around 5:30 unless a special event is happening ). I am very excited about the current exhibit, Bonnard's Worlds. that closes soon; I am looking forward to also seeing the Up Close with Cezanne Paul exhibit to round out our French-themed night, along with a lovely French meal from the restaurant and an easy walk from the museum Bistro Du Coin.

I would love to encourage everyone to take advantage of the weather and DC culture events when they can to create a memorable evening.
