Phillips After 5
Each month the Phillips Collection has an after 5 events on the first Thursday of the month.
Each month Phillips After 5 has a different theme. October was Octoberfest, so of course, beer and cider were involved, and the idea of relaxation was Showcased with the Luncheon of the Boating Party. After 5, Programing showcases a piece of Art and music to accompany a selection of drinks with some food available at the cafe.

Date Night Phillps After 5 and Dupont Circle
The Phillips Collection is an easy walk to Dupont Circle Metro Station, and many delicious restaurants on Connecticut ave open on the latter side. Dupont Circle is a fun place to have a date night with public transportation options, restaurants, and even good places for a ride-share to stop and pick you up, making it an easy place to have a fun date night.
History of the Phillips Collection
The Phillips Collection Museum is unique in the DC area. The Philps collection is
special because it's one of the few private museums in DC. It truly has a lustrous pedigree of being started by the Phillips family home in 1900 as a family passion project of the Phillips family and then a remembrance of those who were lost. The Phillips Collection is interesting due to the history of the building being a family home that has evolved thru the past 100 years to become an excellent modern museum where the past and present are presented on equal terms.
